GreatNews.Life, publisher of Valpo.Life, Portage.Life, LaPorteCounty.Life, NWI.Life and Michiana.Life, is seeking a full-time sales account representative to join the team. As a representative with GreatNews.Life, your primary role will be creating long-term, trusting relationships with marketing partners. Additional tasks will include meetings with potential clients, attending networking events, and ensuring current partners are well cared for.
To succeed in this entry-level sales position, you will need to have a sales-driven mentality to meet ambitious individual sales goals. This position is best suited for someone who is self-motivated, honest, and who understands and embraces our mission and culture.
Primary responsibilities
Create new customer relationships to meet monthly sales quotas.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
Upkeep an engaged ongoing social media presence across multiple platforms.
Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained.
Produce a high level of professional outbound sales calls.
Maintain a high level of sales activity.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships.
Coordinate sales with team members and other departments.
Provide management with reports on client needs, interests, events and feedback.
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and merchandising techniques.
Continuously improve through feedback.
Other duties as assigned.
