The company specializes in advanced automation systems and custom machinery, mainly within automotive manufacturing. They design, build, ship, and install bespoke equipment for customers across a range of manufacturing environments.
In this role you’ll split your time between controls design and hands-on machine work. You’ll be involved with hardware design, PLC programming, debugging, commissioning, and supporting machinery on the shop floor.
This role would suit a Controls Engineer with automation experience looking for technically interesting work, lots of overtime, and long-term progression into project management or leadership.
The Role:
• Full lifecycle controls engineering role
• PLC programming, debugging, commissioning, and machine support
• Working with brand new custom automation machinery
• Mix of desk-based design and hands-on shop floor work
• Overtime available
The Candidate:
• Experience within automation or custom machinery
• Allen Bradley / Rockwell experience
• AutoCAD Electrical experience
• Comfortable debugging and developing systems from scratch
