Graphic Production Artist (Temporary Position)

We are actively hiring for the temporary position of Graphic Production Artist for our plant in Wallingford, CT.

Shift
Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Duties & Responsibilities

Photoshop manipulation – Advanced selections, background removal, layering work, and recoloring

Create and edit all product images, combining the use of Photoshop and our backend tools

Accurately enter product information using our existing backend systems as described by the rest of the merchandising team.

Assist with making changes and updates to existing products’ colors, images, and placements as needed

Procure and manage image assets from vendors and sources to offer the highest quality experience for our customers

Work with the manager and the web development team to resolve product issues in the online designer

Various tasks related to upkeep of products, including but not limited to misc. image manipulation and tasks

Qualifications

High School Diploma required

Highly Proficient in Photoshop, both with advanced skills as well as accuracy and speed. 1-year minimum experience required.

Specific Photoshop abilities required: Advanced selections via use of color, pixel edge recognition, etc.

Must possess a strong attention to detail and be highly organized

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to learn new tasks quickly, follow directions, and complete projects in a timely manner

Candidates must work well on a team but also have the independence to work individually, multitask, and prioritize project work

Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite

Former retail experience and knowledge of e-commerce

Signage industry and production

Copy Shop and other fast-paced production-related industries
