Position Title: Athletics Content Creator/Photographer

Position Type: Temporary Staff (SHRA)

Position Location: North Carolina, US

Working Hours: 40 per week (Monday – Friday, nights and weekends)

Salary Range: $10.00 – $12.00 per hour

Position Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a digital asset manager and photographer within the creative services unit of the athletic department. This temporary position will capture, edit, and share photographs at assigned athletics events. You will work with Athletics Communications and Creative Services to help tell the best stories of Carolina Athletics through excellent photography. This position reports to the assistant athletic director for creative services.

Responsibilities
Capture high‑quality photographs at athletic events.

Edit photographs for use in marketing, media, and digital platforms.

Organize and manage a digital asset library.

Collaborate with Communications and Creative Services teams to deliver visual content that supports the department’s storytelling goals.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency.

One year of experience in a broadcast television, radio, or emerging media environment, or equivalent training and experience.

Desired Experience
Experience capturing and editing athletics photos.
