Societe Generale is seeking an experienced Internal Communications professional to join its Americas Communications team on a temporary basis. This role plays a key part in delivering clear, engaging and timely communications to employees across the region.
You will be responsible for managing high-impact internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet content and multimedia storytelling while partnering with stakeholders across HR, business units and global communications teams.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys managing multiple workstreams from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications
Manage end-to-end internal communications across a variety of topics, including HR initiatives, employee benefits, facilities updates and business continuity messaging
Lead the full communications lifecycle: intake, drafting, stakeholder alignment, approvals and distribution
Partner closely with HR, Facilities, IT and business teams to ensure communications are clear, accurate and timely
Newsletters & Editorial Content
Support and produce key internal publications, including the Americas Weekly, Monday Briefing and L’esprit
Write, edit and curate engaging content for employee audiences
Build and design newsletters using internal email tools
Partner with PR and global communications teams to align on upcoming content and messaging
Coordinate with global colleagues (including Paris and Canada) for content input and translations
Ensure stakeholders, including Employee Resource Groups, submit content and event recaps via SharePoint
Maintain editorial organization, including tracking submissions and updating shared content repositories (e.g., OneNote)
Digital & Intranet Channels
Maintain and update intranet and SharePoint content to ensure accuracy and relevance
Create or coordinate visual assets, including banners for newsletters and intranet pages
Collaborate with design teams or presentation specialists to deliver high‑quality visual content
Multimedia & Content Creation
Develop basic graphic content using PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
Support video production and editing for internal communications initiatives
Capture photography at internal events to support storytelling across channels
Onsite & Event Support
Provide onsite communications support for leadership events, including teleprompter management for senior executives
Help coordinate employee headshot sessions in the onsite photo/video studio
Collaboration & Brand Governance
Partner with stakeholders across business units, support functions and Employee Resource Groups
Ensure communications materials align with corporate brand standards and approved imagery guidelines
Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistency across regions and channels
External Communications Support
Assist with drafting and publishing content for LinkedIn
Support updates to external‑facing content on the wholesale website
What You Bring
5–8 years of experience in internal communications, marketing or a related field
Strong writing and editing skills with a clear, engaging style
Experience managing newsletters, intranet platforms or digital content (SharePoint preferred)
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working with global teams and diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with design tools (PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing is a plus
