Summary
As a Trade Promotions Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of turning commercial strategy into action. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll manage the setup, tracking, and reconciliation of trade programs across key systems, partnering closely with sales teams and brokers to ensure promotions are executed accurately and efficiently. You’ll play a vital role in monitoring claims, approvals, and payments, while delivering clear, timely insights through reporting and analysis. This position offers a great opportunity to combine attention to detail with cross‑functional collaboration to support business performance and customer success.

This position has a target wage of $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Enter trade promotion/brokerage programs.

Review programs for compliance to audit requirements, enter and approve prior to effective date.

Perform programming recalculations when needed.

Reconcile monthly and quarterly sales activity to payment creation within trade promotional/brokerage system.

Process and mail trade promotional checks within 30 days of quarter end.

Process and mail brokerage checks within 15 days of month end.

Receive, analyze and create weekly claims payments.

Obtain appropriate approval.

Ensure that claims are processed against the proper program, customer and product group for accurate financial reporting.

Review, analyze, code and process customer charge back (deductions) against the proper program, customer and product line.

Ensure proper approval.

Provide updates to management on outstanding, unresolved charge backs.

Support Trade Promotions Supervisor and Claims Manager through special project analysis.

Minimum Education And Experience

High school education is required.

2 – 5 years clerical/administrative experience.

Preferred Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of Company’s Order through Cash and Supply Chain process desired.

IT interfacing skills.

Physical Requirements And Environmental Factors

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

Work activity is in an office, open‑partitioned, cubicle environment.
