Data & Content Associate VISTA — Empower Girls' Stories & Impact

PowerPlay is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing the lives of girls through sports, mentorship, and youth development. Our mission is to help girls grow physically, emotionally, and academically by creating safe, supportive spaces where they can build confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of belonging. Through after-school programs, sports clinics, and community events, PowerPlay empowers girls to dream big, discover their strengths, and see themselves as leaders on and off the field.

The Data & Content Associate VISTA will play a key role in strengthening how PowerPlay tells its story and measures its impact. This position will help build systems to collect and analyze program data, capture stories from across our sites, and create content that highlights the voices and achievements of the girls we serve. The VISTA will support the development of a sustainable data pipeline, organize storytelling assets, and collaborate with program and communications teams to ensure our work is accurately represented to internal and external audiences.

Member Duties
The VISTA will be part of the 26-27 Coach Across America national cohort of 64 members. They will strengthen PowerPlay’s impact by building sustainable systems for data collection, analysis, and storytelling. They will develop a content and data pipeline across all program sites, gather stories, photos, and outputs, and organize them into accessible tools for staff. The VISTA will create monthly reports, support program evaluation, and produce storytelling assets that highlight girls’ achievements. They will collaborate with program and communications teams, streamline processes, and ensure accurate, compelling representation of PowerPlay’s work. Their service will help expand PowerPlay’s reach, visibility, and long-term capacity.
