Senior Apparel Designer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Apparel Designer to join our girls’ design team.
This is a hands-on position. The candidate must be proficient in designing Girls' 2-16 sportswear and can create their own artwork.
SUMMARY

Work closely with Head Designer, Sales, Technical, and Production Departments to develop fashion products that are appropriate for the mass market.
Create and update Line Sheets and Tech packs.
Daily commenting on sample submissions, including garments, artwork, lab dip, and trims.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Research fashion trends and adapt for the mass market.
Manage product development from design concept to Pre-Production sample approval.
Create the Production artwork and Tech-Packs
REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Fashion Design
Minimum of 5 years of design experience in the girls’ fashion sportswear market
Proficient knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop for Mac.
Broad experience working with different types of fabrics, including knits, wovens, denim, and sweaters.
Experience designing a variety of products, including tops, bottoms, dresses, sets, rompers, etc.
Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing, and printing techniques
