We're looking for an experienced, highly creative Senior Apparel Designer to help lead the next chapter of our product development and design evolution.

Position Overview
The Senior Apparel Designer will be responsible for driving the creative vision and execution of Happy Camp3r's product lines across fleece, loungewear, activewear, sleepwear, and accessories. This individual will work closely with leadership, production, merchandising, and marketing teams to create compelling collections that align with our brand identity while supporting business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, understands both fashion and commercial viability, and is excited to help shape the future of a rapidly expanding brand.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of seasonal collections from concept through production

Research fashion, color, fabric, and market trends to identify new opportunities

Create detailed tech packs, CADs, artwork, and design specifications

Collaborate with overseas factories throughout the sampling process

Review samples and provide clear feedback for revisions and approvals

Partner with merchandising and sales teams to develop commercially successful assortmentsSource fabrics, trims, washes, and construction details that align with brand goals

Ensure all designs meet quality, fit, margin, and production requirements

Attend fittings and participate in product development meetings

Qualifications

5+ years of apparel design experience, preferably within the contemporary, lifestyle, or loungewear brands

Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design software

Excellent understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and manufacturing processes

Experience creating technical packages and managing sample development

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Trend-aware while maintaining a strong understanding of commercial product development

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
