Production Technician
We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team making roof flashings and other roof accessories. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery and tools for cutting, bending, and assembling sheet metal components.
Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools.
Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Assist in quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications.
Essential Skills
Basic labor experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Ability to read a tape measure for accurate material measurement.
Mechanical aptitude for operating tools and machinery.
English speaking skills, with comfort in a Spanish speaking environment.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
Willingness to learn new skills and assist in other departments.
Attention to detail to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Soldering and/or sheet metal experience.
General labor and assembly experience.

Work Environment
The department operates within a manufacturing facility focused on the fabrication of sheet metal products. This environment is dynamic and busy, with various processes occurring simultaneously. The role involves significant hands-on work, requiring physical activity throughout shifts. Safety is a top priority, with employees required to wear PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots. The workflow is structured, with clear production and quality control processes. Employees must be adaptable to changing demands and priorities, with an emphasis on collaboration, safety, and quality. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM, with optional overtime available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
