HDR Engineering is looking for a Transmission Project Engineer to join our growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals in our Madison, WI and Saint Louis Park, MN office.

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct analyses to develop design options.

Perform PLS‑CADD modeling and/or calculations.

Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications.

Perform routine engineering and design tasks.

Participate in field reviews or construction observation.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.

Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm.

Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desired.

Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., PE or P.Eng).

Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.

Computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (examples include PLS‑CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit).
