About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager & Content Lead to own and elevate our social presence across multiple social media accounts while adhering to our beer release and campaign schedule. This role is focused on planning, strategy, content creation, and execution. The role reports to the Marketing Manager and Creative Director while overseeing posting by taproom team members and freelance creators.
You’ll be responsible for shaping our brand voice, managing content calendars around beer launches and campaigns, growing our audience and engagement, and ensuring consistency across all channels, while collaborating closely with creative, marketing, sales, and leadership. Experience in CPG and/or alcohol brands is strongly preferred, including comfort working within regulated marketing environments.
What You’ll Do
Social Strategy & Leadership
● Own social media strategy across main account and 7+ location-based taproom accounts
● Develop and execute platform-specific strategies aligned with brand, launch, and revenue goals
● Lead content planning for beer launches and campaigns, and manage taproom team members in the planning and posting of taproom events and announcements
● Manage and guide freelance photographers and contributing taproom team members
● Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and translate analytics into actionable insights
● Stay current on platform trends, content formats, and best practices
Content Direction & Creation
● Concept and produce daily high-impact content (photo, video, reels, stories, captions) for campaigns and beer launches that aligns with business goals
● Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) with help from taproom team members and freelance photographers
● Provide creative direction to freelance photographers and taproom team members
● Maintain consistent visual identity, tone, and messaging across all platforms
● Recommend and execute compliant promotions, campaigns, and community initiatives
● Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures)
Community & Brand Management
● Oversee community engagement strategy and response standards
● Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and brand sentiment, and communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner
● Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams on launches, announcements, campaigns, and press moments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Work closely with Creative, Marketing, Sales, and Leadership
● Collaborate with Marketing Manager on social initiatives that support e-commerce traffic and conversion
● Participate in campaign brainstorming and planning sessions with Creative and Marketing teams
● Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
What We’re Looking For
● 4+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within CPG, alcohol, beverage, or lifestyle brands
● Proven experience managing or directing freelancers and junior contributors
● Strong content creation skills with a video-first mindset
● Excellent copywriting and editorial judgment
● Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
● Experience using analytics and insights to optimize content and strategy
● Familiarity with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) and content management tools (Asana, Hootsuite, etc.)
● Understanding of alcohol marketing regulations

The base pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
