What We’re Looking For:
As SVP, Account Director, you’ll lead strategic client relationships with a strong digital transformation focus. You’ll have overall accountability for client partnerships, business growth, and the integration of digital innovation across all account activities. This role requires a forward‑thinking leader who can drive significant organic growth while mentoring teams to deliver future‑ready healthcare communications solutions.

What You’ll Do:
Account Leadership & Management

Serve as the primary senior client contact, building C‑suite relationships while positioning the agency as a digital innovation partner

Lead account planning, financial management, forecasting, and profitability analysis

Drive organic growth through strategic planning that identifies digital expansion opportunities

Structure and oversee account teams to ensure optimal performance and digital capability development

Digital Strategy & Innovation

Champion digital‑first approaches across all client engagements

Identify opportunities to enhance traditional medical education with digital components and data‑driven personalization

Partner with specialists to develop innovative solutions addressing evolving client needs

Guide the integration of AI, automation, and analytics to improve campaign effectiveness

Business Development & Growth

Pursue organic growth opportunities through digital expansion and innovation

Lead new business pitches with compelling digital value propositions

Develop strategic account plans mapping growth pathways through digital transformation initiatives

Monitor competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities

Client Relationship Management

Provide strategic counsel and digital thought leadership to clients at all levels

Anticipate client needs and proactively recommend digital solutions

Lead client meetings and presentations with confidence and digital fluency

Foster trusted advisor relationships by consistently delivering strategic value

Team Leadership & Development

Mentor team members with focus on building digital acumen and consultative skills

Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and digital experimentation

Recruit and retain top talent across traditional and digital disciplines

Model collaborative leadership that bridges traditional account management with digital expertise

Who You Are:

A demonstrated leader with the ability to integrate digital strategies into traditional medical education programs

Experience leading omnichannel campaigns leveraging multiple digital touchpoints

Understanding of digital analytics, measurement frameworks, and performance optimization

Familiarity with digital content strategies, formats, and distribution channels

Experience with digital transformation initiatives within healthcare communications

Knowledge of AI applications in medical education and HCP engagement

Proven success in selling digital solutions to healthcare clients

What You’ll Need:

10+ years progressive experience in healthcare account management with 7‑8 years in medical education

Demonstrated success growing accounts through strategic planning and digital innovation

Strong track record of client relationship management at senior and executive levels

Experience leading high‑performing account teams

Proven business development capabilities and successful pitch leadership

Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, regulations, and stakeholder needs

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job‑related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package. Salary: $125,000—$295,000 USD.
