Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX, Graphic Design, or a related field - or equivalent experience
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong visual and UI design skills with high attention to detail
• 2-4 years of full-time experience in UX or UI design
• Proficiency in Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud; willingness to adopt new design tools as the team evolves
• Working knowledge of HTML & CSS
• Ability to generate design in code for interactive prototypes
• Experience writing and delivering UX specifications
• Ability to design layouts across all devices - Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile
• Experience working within a Content Management System (CMS)
• Experience using AI tools in a design workflow
• Comfortable working in GitHub repositories
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working in a Mac environment
• Must have a portfolio for review
Preferred Qualifications
• Background in graphic design with a strong visual design sensibility
• Experience contributing to or working within a design system
• Familiarity with responsive design principles
• Ability to utilize analytics or metrics to help inform and solve complex design challenges
• Experience designing for platforms in multiple languages
Responsibilities
• Support the design, UI, and visual assets of key People site initiatives
• Collaborate with the People site team and internal partners to define and execute creative elements and design layouts
• Contribute to design system documentation and component libraries
• Work within a CMS environment to support content updates and page layouts
• Provide frequent and clear communication regarding design task progress and status to align with project deliverables
• Ensure key design processes and libraries are maintained and kept to standard
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders
• Contribute to interactive prototypes and design explorations as needed
• Assist with production support for site content updates as needed
Summary:
• The People site hosts all information Client team members need to feel supported and thrive in their role. We support 50 countries in 19 languages with information on benefits, time away, pay, wellness, and more.
• The People Site team is seeking a contract UX Designer to support the creation and design of new digital experiences across the People portals. This role works alongside a cross-functional team of designers, front-end developers, producers, and program managers to conceptualize, design, and refine experiences that help Client employees connect with the resources they need.
• The ideal candidate brings strong visual design sensibility and UX craft, and is self-directed, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• This individual should be able to move fluidly from wireframes and rough concepts to polished visual design layouts ready for development and be comfortable contributing to both digital experiences and design system documentation.
