Account Executive

Position Overview
In this role, you will develop and manage a sales pipeline, build new business relationships with local advertisers throughout Connecticut, promote solutions that fit their marketing needs, and collaborate with internal teams to exceed customer expectations. The position supports a hybrid work week schedule.

Responsibilities

Drive success by using AI‑powered tools throughout the sales cycle—prospecting, planning, presenting, and closing.

Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research, and own the end‑to‑end sales cycle.

Become an expert on digital and print products—including social media, display, video, programmatic, SEO/SEM, and traditional advertising—and provide thorough training before independent selling.

Execute sales tactics, delivering effective presentations and consistently earning, retaining, and growing revenue.

Develop engaging advertising solutions to solve clients’ business needs and recommend new products.

Manage client pipeline and monthly revenue forecast using Salesforce.com.

Qualifications

Education: BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent experience.

Experience: 2+ years of B2B outside sales in advertising or media, proven success in new business acquisition and exceeding revenue goals.

Skills: Superior presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills; technical proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Mindset: Goal‑oriented, competitive, forward‑thinking with strong business and financial acumen.
