A User Research company is seeking NY‑based actors for a paid, in‑person research study. Actors will reenact short, guided scenes to help evaluate and improve safety systems. This is research only, not a commercial or public performance.
Duration
4 week contract + extensions
Schedule
12 hours per week part time, 3 days per week, 4 hours each day between mon-Friday
Each 4 hours block would be either 9:30am - 1:30pm or 2pm - 6pm.
Timeline
1st round interviews taking place this week
Final interviews held in person onsite in NYC Monday, June 1st
What to Expect
Short scripted or lightly guided scene reenactments
Scenes may include sensitive topics such as suicide, harassment, or emotional distress
Clear content briefings provided in advance
Participation is voluntary—you may opt out of any scene or take breaks at any time
Requirements
Based in New York (NYC metro preferred)
Acting experience (stage, film, TV, or training)
Comfortable working with heavy material in a professional, supportive environment
Compensation
$35 to 50/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
