Radio Technician
We are looking for a talented Radio Technician who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for performing the installation, maintenance and repair of communications equipment and systems, and any additional associated infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Install, configure, test, and maintain communication systems on job sites
- Install, configure, test, and maintain Digital Radios, GPS, Cameras, and ELD devices
- Perform diagnostics tests on communication equipment and systems
- Document and report accurate services records
- Communicate with project managers to ensure that projects remain on schedule and services are completed in a timely fashion
- Provide support to all end users in the field to ensure communication lines are active throughout project progress
- High school graduate (Education beyond high school preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in radio technology installation and service and/or 1-3 years of automotive wiring experience
- Basic understanding of 12- & 24-volt systems
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
- Ability to travel greater than 50% of the time
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to communicate with employees and vendors and exchange accurate information in these situations
- Familiarity with electrical codes, construction safety practices, and blueprints
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
