About The Role
Peraton is seeking an experienced
Graphic Designer
to join our national intelligence program that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client’s global missions.
Responsibilities
Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
Utilize request‑management tools to provide swift, high‑quality customer support for communication requests
Coordinate with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user‑friendly experience
Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
Ensure products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public‑release clearances
Conduct technical quality checks
Manage an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive‑design principles
Provide cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps
Position is contingent on contract award
Basic Qualifications
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a Poly clearance.
Minimum of 8 years relevant engineering or technical experience with a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. with 3 years relevant experience or a high school diploma and 12 years of relevant work experience in the IT field).
Experience with the following:
Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
Front‑end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
Photography and video editing
Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user‑friendly experience
Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
Developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online
Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public‑release clearances
Conducting technical quality checks
Desired Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance
Security Clearance
This position requires an active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly. U.S. citizenship is required to hold this clearance.
Details
Target salary range: $80,000 – $128,000. Salary is determined by factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, individual experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, geographic location, and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
