Eaton’s ES AMER MCO division is currently seeking a Component (CPRO) Pricing Manager in Arden, NC, Beachwood, OH, or Moon Township, PA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $230,100 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Job Summary
The Component Pricing Manager is responsible for successful advancement of strategies and price attainment goals while balancing product line initiatives for electrical components in the Electrical Sector. Working with the Director of Strategic Pricing and division pricing leads, the Component Pricing Manager directs the work of the regional pricing managers and pricing analysts. This role will be a hands‑on leader who will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and leadership personnel. This Manager will be developing price strategies, enabling execution while managing a team of front‑end pricing team responsible for quoting, agreement management, and on‑going price integrity.

The Component Pricing Manager is responsible for developing and growing strong working relationships with all areas across the sector including Division Pricing, Product Marketing, Finance, Sales, IT, Company Leadership and key customers. These relationships are critical to enabling execution and improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement pricing strategies by segment, customer type, and price method in support of product line price, share, and profitability goals

Manage a team of (7) Regional Pricing Managers and (2) Pricing Analyst

Lead execution of General Price Increase (GPI) including coordinating market communications with division sales teams

Manage OEM review process with 3rd party vendor, product lines and OEM sales team and leadership

Lead price improvement projects within CPRO team focusing on implementation of pricing software and tools, mix improvement, low margin opportunities, and rebate reductions

Actively engage with participants in the Pricing Distributor Advisory Council and identify opportunities for improvements and ease of business with Eaton

Maintain “pricing guidelines” and rule books for process standardization

Work closely with sales organization identifying solutions for complex situations with results beneficial to Eaton and channel partners. Ability to elevate through organization as required

Maintain CPRO pricing metrics to manage expectations with sales partners

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Minimum 5 years of pricing, finance, or marketing experience

Minimum 7 years of managerial experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering

Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas: economics, finance, marketing, research, process management, project management, pricing management and strategy development

Experience with the MS Product Suite, QlikView, statistical modeling software applications

Technical Knowledge

High level organizational, time management and analytical skills. Must have solid inter‑personal skills to interact with all levels of management

Problem‑solving experience

Demonstrated business acumen

Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas: economics, finance, marketing, research, process management, project management, pricing management and strategy development

Demonstrated ability to learn new software

Experience with MS product suite, QlikView, and PowerBI
