We build places where life happens. As a Marketing Coordinator in our Glendale/LosAngeles office, you will help shape and execute marketing strategy across web, print, and social media, supporting our pursuit and proposal processes.
The opportunity

PCL California Buildings is looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator to make a real impact in the construction industry. You will collaborate with creatives, builders, and executives to craft compelling marketing collateral and drive brand awareness.
What you’ll do to make an impact

Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to support pursuit strategies and storytelling that reinforce our brand and win work.
Assist in planning and developing marketing materials that align with PCL's brand voice and visual identity across web, print, and social media.
Write clear, audience‑specific copy that communicates our value and strengthens connection with clients, consultants, and colleagues.
Support the execution of proposal submissions and project marketing plans by organizing content and ensuring consistency in format and tone.
Provide detail‑oriented proofreading and basic editing support to polish marketing and proposal deliverables.
Develop social media content that resonates with industry audiences and builds brand visibility for California Buildings.
Participate in planning and coordinating internal and external events, managing logistics and communication details.
Apply design thinking and branding principles in collaboration with creative and proposal teams.
Build fluency with marketing systems and tools, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Gain exposure to the marketing lifecycle—from kickoff to closeout—and build foundational experience in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
What you’ll bring to the team

Strong foundation in marketing, communications, or design and eagerness to apply it in a real‑world environment.
Skilled in writing clear, compelling messages tailored to different audiences.
Comfortable navigating creative tools like Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of both creative and strategic aspects of marketing and interest in growing skills on both sides.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting where collaboration is key.
Detail‑oriented and proud of delivering polished, thoughtful work that reflects the brand.
Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred; co‑op or internship experience a bonus.
