Senior Interactive Designer, Icons & Illustrations

Square, a leading financial services and commerce company, is seeking a skilled Senior Interactive Designer to join their team. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between UI design and brand design by developing a robust icon and illustration library that elevates Square’s product experience.

Here’s what you’ll do

Design a comprehensive icon and illustration library for all Square software products.

Establish clear guidelines for incorporating Square’s brand identity into user interfaces through icons and illustrations.

Develop motion principles to add a touch of delight to these visual elements.

You’re a great fit if you have

8+ years of experience designing high-quality visual systems, including icons, illustrations, and animations.

A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create icons and illustrations that are both beautiful and user-friendly.

Experience creating engaging animations that enhance user experience.

Experience collaborating effectively on cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and other design tools.

Bonus points for

Experience establishing clear processes for icon and illustration system adoption.

A passion for inclusive and accessible design.

Experience with animation tools like Adobe After Effects.

Competitive salary (Zone A: $189,000 – $283,600, Zone B: $179,600 – $269,400, Zone C: $170,100 – $255,100, -Zone D: $160,700 – $241,100).
