This person’s main responsibilities will include lead development and sale of new AutoStore projects, working closely with marketing and business development to maintain a robust sales funnel. The role requires managing and qualifying new leads obtained from existing Kardex Group clients, inbound leads through AutoStore and partners, tradeshow leads, business‑development generated leads, and contacts from personal logistics/supply‑chain networks.
Responsibilities

Function as the voice of the client while collaborating with internal teams, and vice versa.
Adhere to a disciplined sales process, ensuring all client interactions are tracked in Salesforce.
Negotiate with clients to set up conditions for project success, prioritising standard solutions and treating custom/complex solutions as occasional options.
Close deals and drive company growth through successful sales.
Assist in the development of standard solutions, sales tools, and processes that enhance client service.
Stay informed on industry trends to guide company strategy.
Identify market potential, analyse industry trends, and collaborate with business development on new client leads.
Initiate and develop new client relationships with decision‑makers and prioritise client site visits to understand their business.
Qualify active leads and opportunities, prioritising accordingly.
Lead the sales phase from lead handover to contract, assessing client operations and identifying opportunities for business cases.
Create optimal solutions that deliver client benefits/ROI, remaining involved as a support resource during project realization.
Lead internal budget costing and fixed‑price proposal processes to ensure on‑time delivery to client.
Support development of differentiating solutions, such as g‑t‑robot picking.
Introduce and improve sales templates (presentation, offer documents) and processes.
Support colleagues at other locations worldwide as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (other degrees or no degree are acceptable based on industry experience).
Minimum five years of experience in sales and consulting and/or design engineering within the intralogistics industry.
Proven portfolio of sold intralogistics projects.
Experience in sales, consulting, project, and team management.
Strong ability to manage budgets and fixed‑price proposals.
Excellent communication skills and a client‑centric mindset.
High motivation to work in a startup environment and willingness to undertake a wide range of tasks across multiple locations.
