A Wilmington-based real estate agent and investment company is hiring a Social Media Coordinator to grow our personal brand and team presence online. You'll be the person behind the camera, behind the edit, and behind the inbox — filming the lead agent and team members, cutting short-form video, writing captions that sound human, and keeping our DMs and comments moving. This is a 3-month paid trial designed to test how well we can grow the brand together. If results are there at 90 days, we extend the role and grow it from there. The typical week looks like this: •

Monday:

~90-minute shoot to batch the lead agent's personal videos for the week •

Tuesday–Thursday:

Film team members at listings around Wilmington •

Throughout the week:

Edit, write captions, schedule, post, reply to DMs and comments • Sunday: Deliver a one-page weekly report and join a 30-minute planning call For the first 4 weeks, every video, caption, and post is reviewed before going live so you can learn our voice. After that, you'll run the calendar independently with weekly Sunday check-ins. Responsibilities: • Shoot 3 personal videos and 2 team videos per week using a phone (framing, lighting, audio) • Edit short-form video in CapCut and prep it for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube • Write captions in a natural, human voice — not corporate brand speak • Post and schedule content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google Business Profile (both personal and team channels) • Direct the lead agent and team members on camera during shoots • Respond to every DM and comment on our channels within 10 hours • Run outbound engagement on accounts that matter to our brand (local agents, Wilmington pages, peer creators) • Flag real leads to the lead agent immediately • Track and report weekly metrics by platform — followers, reach, engagement, views, DMs, and leads • Maintain bios, links, and profile assets so nothing goes stale • Join a weekly 30-minute Sunday planning call

• We never miss a week of content • Every post clearly fits one of our core content themes • Our channels are growing in followers and engagement • Unsolicited DMs are coming in from people who want to work with us • We extend the role and keep building Qualifications: •

Proven work history

in social media, content creation, or video production — you must be able to show real examples of work you've shot, edited, and posted (for yourself, a brand, or a client) • Strong eye for mobile video — framing, lighting, audio • Proficiency in CapCut (or comparable short-form editor) • Strong writing skills with a natural, conversational voice • Comfortable directing talent on camera • Organized self-starter able to run a weekly content calendar with minimal oversight • Available in-person in Wilmington, NC • References or testimonials from past clients or employers are preferred • Real estate, local Wilmington, or personal brand experience is a plus, not required
