The Team Submarine's Submarine COLUMBIA Class Program Office plays a vital role in:
The construction of COLUMBIA Class submarines
Financial and budget management
Shipyard support for submarines
Vendor support for submarines
Logistical support
Quality assurance (SUBSAFE)
Post-delivery submarine certifications and test programs

This position is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Your responsibilities include
Supporting PMS397 design and construction to meet survivability requirements.
Identifying and resolving technical issues, facilitating decisions, and reviewing design products.
Serving as a liaison with other PMS397 team members and NAVSEA05 Technical Warrant Holders (TWH).
Being a primary customer contact, providing project updates.
Building strong relationships with the program manager and other team leads.
Leading program reviews discussing cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Providing acquisition management planning and execution support.
Leading technical discussions and preparing formal briefings.
Performing additional duties as assigned.
To thrive in this role, you need
The ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
A Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
The ability to multitask effectively.Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Flexibility in job specifications and schedules.
Problem-solving capabilities.
Additional desired qualifications
Experience with Navy acquisition and/or in-service programs.
Preferably, active duty experience in the submarine service.
Recent experience with Team Submarine is ideal.
