Position Overview
Autodesk is on an exciting journey to redefine how we empower our global sales, customer success, and partner teams to enhance customer experiences. We are looking for a Lead Narrative Content Creator who will play a pivotal role in shaping the engaging narratives of our enablement stories. By transforming business concepts, product narratives, and customer success stories into impactful documentary-style experiences for our new streaming platform, you will be a crucial part of our mission.

In this role, you will be the primary narrative voice for our enablement content, crafting scripts and story frameworks for video-based experiences. You will also assist in creating written content for courses, coaching scenarios, and supplementary materials. Collaboration is key, as you will work alongside Go to Market Enablement stakeholders, subject matter experts, content designers, producers, and editors to create content that captivates diverse global audiences and drives business impact.

Responsibilities

Drive narrative development for enablement content by creating compelling scripts and frameworks for video-based experiences.

Simplify complex product, customer, and business concepts into clear, engaging narratives that resonate with global sales, partners, and customers.

Write diverse scripts for videos, interviews, explainer content, and episodic stories.

Ability to write in various styles, including documentary, scripted role‑play, and product narratives.

Collaborate with creative team members to maintain narrative cohesion from concept to completion.

Work closely with enablement program leaders, subject matter experts, content designers, and video teams to craft story‑driven enablement experiences.

Develop narrative arcs that align with key enablement objectives and engage the intended audience.

Adapt narrative content across various formats, including scripts, courses, playbooks, and PDF resources.

Ensure storytelling aligns with brand voice, tone, and Go to Market strategies.

Contribute to the evolution of modern enablement storytelling by integrating new formats, techniques, and technologies.

Guide and edit the work of other writers to ensure consistency in narrative style and editorial standards.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of professional writing experience with a focus on storytelling, narrative development, documentary, or editorial content.

Proven experience in writing scripts for video, documentary storytelling, or multimedia content.

Adept at writing in a variety of styles and tones.

Strong capability to translate complex technical and business topics into engaging narratives for professional audiences.

Experience in developing story‑driven content based on expert insights and real‑world examples.

Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Skilled in managing multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in writing for documentary projects, corporate training, sales enablement, and enterprise environments.

Background in documentary filmmaking, editorial storytelling, or branded content production.

Proficient in adapting content across various formats.

Experience leveraging data and research to enhance content and script development.

Ability to blend creative storytelling with structured objectives in a dynamic work environment.

Salary Transparency
Salary is just one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $70,000 and $125,840. Offers will be based on the candidate's experience and location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation may include annual bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock options, and a robust benefits package.
