The Opportunity:
The Graphics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining sequential integrity and accuracy of production documentation in alignment with job specifications. This role supports the overall workflow by ensuring all job components are validated, complete, and aligned across internal systems prior to release to production. The position works closely with planning, customer service, and production teams to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality. A typical day includes reviewing job tickets, verifying specifications, updating system data, preparing job packets, and supporting production readiness from intake through execution.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
Review and print job tickets and all supporting documentation including layouts, CAD files, and TOPS sheets
Validate job ticket details against sales orders and long descriptions to ensure accuracy
Ensure ink formulas and color match information are included and correct
Verify pack-out instructions align with TOPS sheet requirements
Calculate sheet counts manually to confirm production accuracy
Confirm correct CAD files and materials are specified for each job
Verify required elements such as EPP are included in job documentation
Compare production layouts to planning layouts to ensure consistency
Confirm all required production steps are properly documented
Update job information and corrections within internal systems such as Radius
Prepare and assemble finalized job packets and route to appropriate areas
Create TOPS sheets as requested by Customer Service Representatives
Order tooling including foil stamp and emboss dies as required
Generate outsource purchase orders and obtain vendor pricing when needed
Attend new product meetings and complete required planning documentation
Print die materials and manage artwork outputs as needed
Reprint and redistribute updated job tickets when revisions occur
Support additional operational and cross-functional needs as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position requires frequent use of hands and repetitive motions for document handling and system entry. The role may involve standing, walking, bending, or reaching during the workday. Light lifting may be required. The position requires close visual attention, peripheral awareness, and strong hand-eye coordination. Work is performed in an environment with moderate to loud noise and may include proximity to moving mechanical parts.
