Your responsibilities
Project manage (new) product development projects: manage within SyncForce development processes of NPD/EPD projects to deliver OTIF.
Solutions driven approach to feasibility including commercial viability of new product developments (concept & financials).
Centralize and validate product development briefings; including the cross-functional checks and risk assessment.
Manage projects and mitigate or escalte discrepancies (mid-stage concept & financials).
Facilitate ICP Estimates and Mock-ups to support category and BU teams with new products.
Support in Tenders for the assigned portfolio.
Ensure first-time-right technical product data.
Build knowledge and expertise on responsible portfolios and educate Category & PL BU teams.
Support Category Managers and Value Added Assortment Manager in feasibility stage.
Maintain building blocks for responsible portfolios ("what can we do today?")
Support in creating new building blocks for Private Label ("what is new?")
Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate new product features on an on‑going basis.
Identify and own value‑engineering initiatives across portfolio.
Bridge factory needs with Category & PL BU teams (support technology driven changes).
Focus on improving time to market and eliminating non‑value adding work.

The Product Manager is responsible for managing and implementing new‑and existing product developments and supporting in Tenders for the assigned portfolio. The developments triggered by the Category team (Brand) or customers will be executed OTIF in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. In line with our OGSM, the Product Manager is also focused on adding incremental value to the portfolio (value engineering & proactive idea generation).
Our requirements
Bachelor / University education, Marketing
Approx. 5+ years of work experience in a relevant position within Product Management, preferably within FMCG or home décor.
