Role Description:
This is a full-time, on‑site Social Media Content Creator role based in Seattle, WA. The Social Media Content Creator will be a pivotal member of our dynamic team, working to drive our social media strategy, execute data‑driven marketing campaigns, and significantly increase brand awareness across a wide range of digital channels. This role requires a highly creative, analytically minded, and results‑oriented individual who possesses a genuine passion for marketing and a relentless commitment to delivering exceptional, measurable results.
As the Social Media Content Creator, you will take full ownership of our social media presence on key platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and curating compelling, on‑brand content, engaging with our online community, and building strong relationships with influencers and industry partners.
The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive, solutions‑oriented self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving environment and is committed to staying at the forefront of the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a monthly content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Implement daily social media posts across top platforms.
Schedule and plan engaging posts and stories 2‑3 weeks in advance.
Respond to DMs and comments on all social media platforms.
Develop and implement strategy to hit targets for monthly follower growth goals across top social media channels.
Archive outdated posts to maintain a fresh and relevant online presence.
Manage product photography and videos for use on social media and other channels.
Utilize Canva to assist with creation of graphics.
Film and edit short‑form and long‑form content utilizing basic video‑editing tools and/or AI video‑editing tools.
Assist in marketing efforts for in‑person events and conferences.
Travel 2‑4 times per year to conferences and as needed.
Digital Marketing Campaigns (15%)
Collaboratively develop and execute marketing strategies across social media.
Collaborate with leadership team to plan and execute marketing launches for new online courses.
eCommerce Management (15%)
Manage and optimize e‑commerce content for TikTok Shop, Etsy, and Google Merchant.
As needed, add new product listings with descriptions.
Create web‑only graphics to promote each product listing.
Analytics and Optimization (20%)
Compile and analyze weekly marketing metrics reports.
Conduct regular reviews of marketing efforts and suggest strategic improvements.
Track and monitor budget and marketing spend across paid ad campaigns and e‑commerce products.
Create and manage ad campaigns, optimize performance and ROI.
Affiliate and Merchandise Management (10%)
Develop and maintain affiliate relationships, creating sale codes and promotions.
Order and manage company merchandise and swag for product giveaways and promotions.
Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing.
Strong proficiency in TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative problem‑solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all marketing materials and campaigns.
Commitment to delivering high‑quality work that meets or exceeds expectations, even under tight deadlines.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
Meticulous organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of high‑quality deliverables.
Strong proofreading and editing skills to maintain error‑free content across all platforms.
Dedication to continuous improvement and a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, and best practices in digital marketing.
Ability to think critically and identify potential issues or inconsistencies before they impact the quality of our marketing efforts.
Competitive salary based on experience – $35‑$42 per hour.
