Senior Event Marketing Agent

As a Senior Event Marketing Agent, you will drive lead generation and brand awareness through on‑site, face‑to‑face interaction with prospective customers. You will serve as a liaison between our company and homeowners, providing valuable information about products and services and using the script and methodology taught to you to produce qualified leads in the form of in‑home consultation appointments for our design consultants.
You will speak with prospective customers at festivals, home shows, retail stores, and fairs in and around Idaho Falls and Pocatello, with occasional travel to Utah and Wyoming.
Part‑time, non‑benefited, non‑exempt, at‑will position. Potential to move to full‑time based on operational needs. Base pay starts at $18 per hour with paid training; typical pay ranges from $20–$25 per hour plus commission. Schedule includes 4–10 hour shifts, 20 hours per week, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts; primarily weekends with some weekdays; travel and holiday shifts may be required.
Responsibilities

Report directly to the Event Marketing Manager.
Identify and qualify appointments with prospective homeowners.
Utilize training and scripting to generate leads using approved company methodology.
Retain and effectively communicate key brand information to educate consumers about the product.
Set up, execute, break down, and take down all company display items.
Send pictures of set‑up each shift to the Event Manager.
Provide the Event Manager with consumer feedback and information for recaps.
Maintain proper channels of communication, including being active in and monitoring GroupMe Event chats.
Provide timely sweepstakes and lead sheets.
Meet an average lead requirement of 3.6 hours per demo (HPD).
Participate in weekly check‑in calls with the Event Manager.
Attend bi‑monthly one‑on‑ones via video call.
Attend monthly team meetings via video call.
Attend monthly visits/shadowing by the Event Manager.
Attend quarterly office visits to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Submit lead sheets on digital form during shifts.
Return paper copies of lead sheets and sweepstakes in person once a month during visits/shadowing.
Work at least 7 events (festivals, home shows, fairs, retail, etc.) per month.
Travel as necessary for events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance policy that passes an MVR check.
Ability to fit event set‑up items in the vehicle for scheduled shifts.
Ability to arrive for scheduled shifts in a timely manner.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable smartphone/data plan.
Effective listening and communication skills.
Previously sales experience is a plus.
Can lift 50+ pounds with or without accommodation.
Basic computer skills.

Working Conditions

Work in various indoor and outdoor locations.
Work in indoor office space with regular noise levels consistent with a business environment.
Work in varying weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures.
Work in either very bright or very low light.
Work with a group, as part of a team, or individually managing an event.
Work near other people but usually have a few feet of space separating them from coworkers.
Work long hours at events communicating with coworkers and networking with customers at registration tables or by manning a booth.
Work with software to organize leads, scheduling, and reporting.
Physical Requirements

Move, bend, and position oneself to set up a marketing booth.
Push, pull, and reach to move and/or lift 50 pounds or more of equipment at event sites.
Communicate, express, or exchange ideas by means of spoken word.
Understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
Be stationary for extended periods of time (6–8 hours).
Seize, hold, grasp, turn, and use various product tools, marketing materials, and equipment.
Transit to various work locations reliably as required.
Work indoors or outdoors.
