Our Corporate Marketing & Communications team is currently seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist in our Worcester, MA location. This is a full‑time, exempt role. This role is a hybrid arrangement.

Position Overview
Our Corporate Communications team is responsible for the company’s internal and external communications, including corporate and business unit media relations, public relations, social media, online reputation, advertising, employee communications, issues management, and special situations. The team also provides communications support to its investor relations, government affairs and community relations groups. This role helps support the development, execution and measurement of communications initiatives across multiple channels, with a strong emphasis on public relations, including news releases and external announcements, social media, media monitoring, advertising, and brand governance.

In This Role, You Will

Support the execution of the company’s comprehensive internal and external corporate communications strategy.

Support external communications efforts, including the writing and promotion of news releases, business leader thought leadership articles, company announcements, awards and community initiatives, and pitching stories to news media, as needed.

Support special projects and initiatives for the company, including campaigns, events, conferences.

Assist in the development and execution of organic social media content to support business initiatives, brand awareness, employee engagement, and community programs.

Provide day‑to‑day support for the company’s social media presence across multiple platforms, including content planning, coordination, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring.

Monitor for external company mentions across a variety of media including publications, social media channels, online reviews and brand mentions, escalating issues to appropriate teams as needed.

Support measurement and reporting of corporate communication efforts by helping compile performance data for internal reporting and strategic planning.

Maintain corporate communications calendars, media lists, documentation and content inventories to support planning and consistency across channels.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment with corporate positioning.

Maintain competitive intelligence and monitor evolving best practices, trends and platform changes related to corporate communications practice areas.

What You Need to Apply

Collaborative, motivated and enthusiastic team player who is committed to communications excellence and helping the team and the company succeed.

0–5 years of experience in internal and or external communications, public relations, marketing, social media or related fields.

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, English, or a related field preferred.

Must be proactive, self‑directed, adaptable and able to exercise sound judgement.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaboration and problem‑solving skills.

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for tone, accuracy, and brand alignment.

Comfortable working cross‑functionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Detail‑oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data to inform communications efforts.

Knowledge of or willingness to learn AP style.

The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus (which could take the form of a general bonus, sales incentive, or short‑term incentive), long‑term incentive or spot recognition awards. The posted range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
