Volunteer Opportunities
Time is our most precious gift. Share your gift with a Hospice patient. Time is limited, yet of eternal value. What makes it so is how you use it and to whom you give it. Share your gift of time with a patient on their end-of-life journey. No special skills are necessary, just a listening ear and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you’ll ever spend.

Elara Caring Hospice is currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:

Companion Volunteers

Pet Therapy Volunteers

Veteran Volunteers

Office Volunteers

Crafting Volunteers

We have patients in need in outlying areas as well as the Grand Rapids Area. These areas include:

Grand Rapids

Muskegon

Wayland/Hastings

Greenville

Rockford

Holland

Saugatuck/Douglas

Elara Caring is looking for artists that can paint and/or draw portraits. This is to give families a forever lasting hand‑crafted picture of their loved ones. This can be done in the comfort of your home or studio and can be done according to your schedule.
