UX Strategist

Seeking a UX Strategist/ UX Designer/ UX Researcher
Education:

Master's degree in UX, will consider UX certification, preferably by NNG or Rutgers
(Will NOT consider someone who is a UI Designer and is purely self-taught)
3+ years of experience, nice to have
Must Have Portfolio That Represents Work:

UX Strategist
Maintain an up to date understanding of evolving industry standards for web and mobile products and identify User Experience (UX) opportunities for products and features. Conduct product research to determine user behavior, goals, motivations, and needs. Identify key user groups and create representative personas based on product research results.
Collect data to be used for decision making that include: - Personal interviews with users and stakeholders, moderated and unmoderated - Competitive analysis - Online surveys - Focus groups

Information Architecture Define Information Architecture through creation of website structure, navigation, hierarchies and categorizations that allow users to understand where they are, and where the information they want is in relation to their current position. Create interactive prototypes that allow the user to experience content and test the main interactions with the interface in a way similar to the final product. Test prototypes and products to determine challenges that users experience during the interaction. Conducting in-person user tests to observe behavior. Gather and analyze verbal and non-verbal feedback from the user to assist in creating a better user experience. Demonstrate a high level of understanding for accessibility implementation and problem solving. Collaborate with UI design team to maintain consistent core functionality across products. Follow design guidelines for implementation, visual language, color story, themes, CSS styles, etc. based on client standards. Possess excellent organizational skills to prioritize workload across several projects, whilst maintaining strong attention to detail. Manage project scheduling and conduct project meetings.
Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in User Experience, Interaction Design, Web Design/Development, Digital Arts, Data Visualization, Animation, or similar field of study Proficiency: Axure RP Adobe CC Suite Data Visualization JIRA/Confluence SharePoint Microsoft 365 Mac or PC
