Job Overview: Pay Range: $27hr - $32hr
Requirement/Must Have
Minimum 1+ years of experience in entertainment publicity or communications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience communicating with high-profile individuals including actors, producers, and media contacts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work weekends and evenings as required for events.
Experience
Experience managing show assets including photos, clips, bios, and media materials.
Experience drafting press releases and media alerts.
Experience coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries.
Experience supporting press events, media relations, and publicity campaigns.
Experience maintaining calendars, press contact lists, and editorial schedules.
Experience compiling coverage reports and tracking campaign activities.
Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities
Manage and organize show asset needs including photos, clips, loglines, bios, and headshots.
Draft press materials including press releases and media alerts.
Coordinate talent travel arrangements, itineraries, and glam services.
Track invoices and assist with show budget management.
Support planning, staffing, logistics, and media relations for press events.
Assist with events including Upfronts, Comic-Con, TCA, junkets, premieres, festivals, awards shows, and press trips.
Participate in PR department meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Maintain and update department calendars and publicity schedules.
Organize press mailings and maintain media contact databases.
Compile and distribute campaign coverage reports.
Should Have
Familiarity with social media platforms and entertainment industry trends.
Strong judgment and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
GPA above 3.0 preferred.
