Territory Sales Representative

Position Overview

Sales Representative to sell TruGreen residential services including lawn care, tree & shrub care and pest control. Responsible for meeting sales goals in assigned territory using direct and outbound methods such as in-person visits, phone calls, trade shows and online requests.
Responsibilities

Sell residential services to new and existing customers within designated territory via direct and tele-sales campaigns.
Contact prospects, set appointments and adhere to schedule.
Generate prospects through market events and online requests.
Upsell new services to current customers.
Build customer relationships and handle objections.
Deliver product offerings, close sales and acquire referrals.
Collect customer contact & payment information for each sale.
Respond to incoming calls regarding current services or new opportunities.
Partner with service delivery team to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Use modern technologies (cell phone, tablet, computer, e‑mail) in prospecting and follow‑up.
Education & Experience

Proven sales experience required. Direct outside sales or professional marketing experience preferred. Reliable vehicle required; mileage reimbursement available. Valid, current driver’s license, pre‑employment motor vehicle record check and proof of auto insurance required. Pesticide certification as required by law.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to learn TruGreen products and services (training provided).
Consultative selling ability and strong follow‑up skills.
Proficiency with modern technologies (cell phones, tablets, computers, e‑mail).
Excellent interpersonal communication with internal staff and external customers.
Ability to present services professionally.
Strong time‑management, organizational, and leadership skills.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Requires sitting, standing, walking, using hands/arms, speaking, hearing and vision. Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme cold, heat, wet conditions. Exposure to animals and insects. Must be physically located in the United States.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $27,669.00 – $58,865.00. Additional benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance and company‑matching 401(k).
