Job Summary
Seeking a Communications & Engagement Consultant (contractor) to support the North America Transformation Office. This role focuses on the tactical execution of internal communications, storytelling, and event support. Reporting to the VP Transformation Change Management, this person will be responsible for driving high-quality content that drives employee engagement and ensures clarity around the organization’s transformation journey.

Day In Life

Intro to transformation

Internal communications - heavy in this area - everything from drafting newsletter, drafting posts for intranet, collaborating across teams, needs to be an expert writer and communicator

Will support projects - example: developing a communications playbook, will play a supportive role

PowerPoint Presentation support - very PP focused, good eye for presentation design-

An eye for storytelling

Event coordination - townhall meetings, quarterly meetings - general understanding of planning and event execution

Project management: ability to shift priorities, be flexible, roll with the punches

Autonomy: wants to dive in and own priorities on a larger scale by the summer

Hard Skills

Data and finance driven

Can come from any background (HM comes from an eyewear company)

Communications background

Understanding of large/international corp structure

Prefer someone who comes from corp vs startup

MS Office - PP, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams - intermediate level

Any Creative platforms - Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign a plus but not required

Adobe Campaign experience would be a plus

Any experience with a Newsletter platform is great

Relationship building and collaboration

Key Responsibilities

Communications & Content Production: Draft and edit high-impact content including newsletters, communications plans, intranet articles (SharePoint), FAQs, video scripts, and internal posts.

Team Support: Develop PowerPoint presentations, briefing docs, and talking points for the CTO.

Editorial Management: Own and update the Transformation Office editorial calendar and Gantt, ensuring all content is delivered on time and aligned with key milestones.

Visual Storytelling & Campaign Execution: Create or coordinate visual assets (graphics, slides, videos) that make complex data easy to understand for a broad employee audience.

Project Partnership: Act as Transformation liaison with project teams to provide support in Communications Playbook execution, ensuring seamless implementation of project communication and activation strategies, in alignment with the standardized approach driven by the Transformation Office.

Event Coordination: Manage the logistical "run-of-show" for internal events, town halls, ad-hoc meetings and transformation workshops (both virtual and in-person).

Platform Management: Post and manage content across internal digital platforms, ensuring all transformation resources are up-to-date and accessible.

Comms Playbook Activation: Operationalization, rollout, and marketing/activation of all components in the playbook with project teams across the Transformation portfolio.

Qualifications

7-9 Years of Experience in internal communications, HR communications, corporate copywriting, or content marketing.

Expert Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to simplify complex business concepts and projects.

PowerPoint Power-User: Ability to build marketing presentations with strong visual design sense to amplify internal storytelling.

Project Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment.

Tech Savvy: Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Teams. Experience with Adobe Campaign, Creative Cloud or Canva is a plus.

Agile Mindset: Ability to pivot quickly and work effectively as a consultant within a large, matrixed organization.
