Position Overview

Marketing Representative
This position is responsible for qualifying leads and soliciting business through agents, wholesalers, brokers, and direct channels. The role includes outreach, submission management, and business development.
Responsibilities

Maintain communication and visit each Preferred/Firemarked Agent at least once per quarter.
Submit qualified submissions for processing to Underwriters in complete form with a request for quotation following the Code of Business Conduct.
Develop referrals from each qualified appointment.
Maintain a new and renewal book of business exceeding four million dollars.
Explain features and merits of policies offered, recommending coverage amounts and types based on prospect analysis.
Develop new Preferred Agency and firemarked agency relationships.
Perform in‑person cold calls on a weekly basis.
Solicit business via in‑house software system with preloaded leads.
Develop a fixed number of planned and qualified appointments per week.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
Current Property and Casualty license.
Minimum of one year of previous experience selling commercial insurance with a carrier or agency.
Preferred 2–4 years of experience.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing, growing environment.
Salary

Listed salary ranges: Seattle – $62,525–$69,472; Spokane – $57,088–$63,431. The ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as experience and geographic location.
