The Role
As an Account Manager II - Inside Sales, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth within small to medium-sized customer accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to build long-term, consultative relationships with customers without needing to be present on their premises. By fostering these relationships, you aim to maximize revenue and minimize account churn.
The Main Responsibilities
Safeguard base revenue while consistently meeting or exceeding growth quotas within your assigned customer base.
Identify key decision-makers and assess customer needs to present tailored solutions effectively.
Leverage customer relationships to understand product fit and expand the product portfolio offered.
Maintain up-to-date customer information, including sales funnel activity, opportunity updates, monthly goals, customer proposals, and contracts.
Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction, ensuring a positive experience for each client.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education with at least 2 years of sales experience.
Proven account management background, focusing on retaining and growing existing accounts.
Strong oral and written communication, as well as analytical problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Preferred Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or comparable education and experience.
Consistent record of success in inside/outside sales roles.
Advanced understanding of technology products and solutions.
Passion for customer service and eagerness to introduce new technology to clients.
Ability to engage in unscripted interactions; strong interviewing, selling, and persuasion skills, along with a solid understanding of company products/services and competitor offerings.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive salary range, influenced by factors such as location, skills, and experience. Anticipated salary ranges include:
$50,862 - $67,809 for specific states
$53,403 - $71,201 for certain others
$55,944 - $74,592 for higher tiers.
