Channel Account Manager, Public Sector

We are looking for an energetic and self‑motivated individual who wants to continue their career within Public Sector Channel Sales. As a Channel Account Manager you will be responsible for building and executing the channel strategy for our State, Local and Federal public sector business and for supporting the engagement between partner and Rapid7 channel sales teams, along with supporting/executing on enablement activities directly.
About the Team: Our public sector business has been growing at a considerable rate over the last few years, and with a 100% Channel model, our Channel team is at the heart of our success. The Channel organization has a vital responsibility to drive partnership revenue and growth with our channel partners and distributors.
Responsibilities

Support on partner enablement activities to help drive partner‑generated pipeline and deliver partner‑sourced deals in order to achieve defined targets.
Follow‑up on channel account‑based marketing campaigns, designed in partnership between sales, channel, and marketing.
Assist with integrated email and cold‑calling campaigns to generate new channel sales prospects.
Support channel partners to ensure customer health and drive renewals.
Drive target partner contacts to attend marketing events and respond to our campaign.
Build strong cross‑functional relationships internally with our sales, marketing and enablement teams.
Report on demand generation, enablement, and pipeline on a regular basis.
Meet and exceed weekly KPI’s and deliver a high quantity of qualified channel sales opportunities.
Qualifications

7–10years working in a public sector channel role with proven capabilities in account development and proactive outreach.
Track record of working in a target‑driven environment, achieving targets, tenacious and driven, with a competitive personality.
Previous experience working in software, SaaS, or security sales is required.
Passionate about delighting customers with exceptional relationship‑building skills.
Excited by technology, curious and eager to learn more about IT security products and services.
High level of resilience, with the ability to bounce back after setbacks or rejection.
Creative, able to think independently and come up with new solutions.
Ambitious, dedicated to continuous learning and personal development.
Receptive to feedback and willingness to adapt.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail in all areas of work.
A team player who collaborates effectively as part of a high‑performing team, helping teammates and celebrating team success.
