Public Sector Account Manager – South Territory

Responsibilities
Drive Logitech’s presence in state and local government, higher education, and K‑12 education through heavy influencing and direct engagement with key decision makers up to VP and C‑Level executives.
Determine or define clear solutions that meet partner needs, resulting in outcomes that exceed business expectations.
Maintain an accurate pipeline and pipeline sufficiency, track progress through Salesforce and Tableau, and manage quarterly revenue commitments and forecasts.
Prospect new accounts and develop top SLED accounts within the territory and vertical focus.
Build and execute account plans within Salesforce.
Manage the sales cycle, including creation of client presentations and demos.
Partner with channel partners (system integrators, VARs) to fulfill customer requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales Engineer, Alliances, Channels, Distribution, Marketing, SE, HQ resources) and external partners to enhance delivery.
Provide customer insights and feedback to product management and cross‑functional teams.
Help maintain relationships with key channel partners and alliance partnerships in the South East Territory (GA, TN, AL).
Travel for internal meetings, industry conferences, and on‑site customer visits as needed.
Maintain a strong desire to win deals, RFPs, and standards, taking on tough accounts while delivering quarterly revenue commitments.
Qualifications
Proven relevant sales experience in the public sector with an assigned sales quota.
Previous public sector sales leadership experience and familiarity with key verticals.
Experience selling Unified Communications (UC) and a strong understanding of cloud solutions.
Direct sales experience in Video Collaboration is preferred.
Previous experience building strategic public sector account plans.
Proficiency in Salesforce (Salesforce.com) and Tableau.
Ability to conduct hands‑on solution demos in‑person.
Experience working on large RFP projects is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
Bias for action and attention to detail.
Ability to build cross‑functional relationships and innovate within a growing business.
Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar social media tools.
Ability to quickly understand and demonstrate technology and business value propositions.
Strong desire to win deals and exceed quotas.
Compensation
On‑target earnings (base + variable bonus) typically range from $120,000 to $210,000, depending on location and experience. Higher compensation may be considered based on business need, candidate experience, and skills.
