Paid Search Campaign Coordinator (SEM)

We are seeking a Freelance Paid Search Campaign Coordinator (SEM) to support paid search initiatives on an as-needed basis during a transitional period. This contractor will help manage campaign implementation, optimization, forecasting, and ongoing performance monitoring across search marketing programs. The initial engagement is expected to last approximately 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.

This role is ideal for a hands-on SEM professional who can step in quickly, work independently, and provide reliable execution and strategic support. Weekly hours are expected to range from 20-40, depending on project volume and priorities. Candidates must be located within the continental United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Launch, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns across relevant platforms.
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend adjustments to improve ROI, conversion rates, and overall efficiency.
• Develop campaign forecasts, pacing updates, and performance projections.
• Support keyword strategy, bid management, ad copy testing, and audience targeting.
• Analyze campaign data and prepare clear, actionable performance reports.
• Identify opportunities for campaign expansion, refinement, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align search strategy with broader marketing goals.
• Provide flexible support based on workload and evolving business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing SEM or paid search campaigns in a freelance, contract, or in-house capacity.
• Strong understanding of campaign setup, optimization techniques, and search performance analytics.
• Experience with forecasting, budget pacing, and performance reporting.
• Ability to work autonomously and ramp up quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Availability to support a fluctuating weekly workload of 20-40 hours.
• Must be based within the continental United States.
