Position Overview
The Dental Laboratory Production Technician supports the production of customized dental medical devices by performing hands-on fabrication, finishing, and repair processes. This role is responsible for working with 3D printed models and dental tray components, ensuring products meet quality standards, doctor specifications, and company procedures.
Operating in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment, this position requires attention to detail, adherence to standard operating procedures, and a commitment to balancing quality with productivity. The technician plays a key role in delivering high-quality dental solutions that improve patient outcomes while contributing to daily production goals and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Functions

Fabricate, finish, and repair customized dental medical device appliances to meet precise specifications
Post-process 3D-printed dental models, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
Perform stamping, trimming, and polishing of dental trays with attention to detail and consistency
Interpret and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and individual doctor prescriptions/preferences
Maintain strict adherence to lab processes, procedures, and industry regulations
Collaborate within a team-oriented environment to achieve daily production targets and deadlines
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality
Support additional laboratory operations and duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma preferred; GED accepted

Experience

6-12 months of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ability to follow production processes and quality standards required.

Skills and Competencies

Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ability to follow detailed work instructions and prescriptions
Strong understanding of laboratory processes, procedures, and industry quality standards
Effective teamwork and communication skills in a production-driven environment
Ability to meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization
Flexibility and adaptability to perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities as needed
