About the Role
We’re looking for a Creative Director who understands both sides: how to build strong brand ideas, and how those ideas need to work on platforms today. This is not a pure content role — and not a traditional campaign role. It’s about translating brand into culture.
What you can expect
Lead and develop a team across art, motion and copy — with a clear focus on social‑first thinking
Translate brand and campaign ideas into platform‑native formats that feel relevant, not forced
Bridge brand‑led creative thinking with social, influencer and creator ecosystems
Ensure creative quality while maintaining a strong connection to brand strategy and business goals
Bring cultural awareness into the work — understanding what moves audiences and why
Shape how ideas are distributed across platforms, creators and formats
Work closely with influencer marketing and social teams to connect ideas with real execution
Build structures, processes and quality standards that allow teams to scale output efficiently
Identify emerging platform dynamics, formats and behaviors — and turn them into actionable creative approaches
Desired qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in the conception and implementation of social media content for brands and companies on all relevant platforms, preferably in a typical digital agency environment or in a comparable senior creative role.
Experience as a Creative Director in a agency (with focus on digital or social media) or as a social media team lead on the media or corporate side. Your portfolio demonstrates your conceptual and visual expertise and includes creative social‑first highlights.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of digital trends — in digital culture and social media
Strong skills in ideation and presentation.
Strategic thinking capabilities.
Proficiency in all common graphic tools and, above all, in the content production and supervision of moving image content.
Experience with the creation of content using AI and preferably already applying it in your daily practice.
Good knowledge of social media metrics and social media management.
Fluency in German, both spoken and written, with the ability to evaluate content in English at a native level.
Team player, open to discussions, flexible, and committed.
Flexibility to travel when possible.
Passion for driving innovation and unlocking new opportunities for brands in social media.
Equal Employment Opportunity Statement
We care about your personality and professional skills. We don’t care about your gender, age, nationality or appearance and are open to working with everyone.
