Summary of Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the sale and support of Akron Brass and Hale products/service for dealer and end‑user customers across all product lines. The role focuses on expanding sales opportunities and maximizing revenue and profitability within the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory business plan.
Conduct sales activities to exceed sales plan in both total sales and new product sales on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Monitor performance via daily, weekly, and monthly reports and scorecards.
Build and enhance distributor network through training, education, and joint sales calls.
Evaluate distribution performance; recommend new accounts, realignment, or termination to achieve company objectives.
Uncover, develop, and co‑manage new specification opportunities to expand presence and share of the apparatus.
Collaborate closely with the OEM account sales team to drive specifications with end users, impacting overall Akron Brass and Hale results beyond the territory.
Demonstrate effective territory and pipeline opportunity management using Salesforce CRM.
Handle regional trade shows, distributor/OEM open houses within the territory.
Perform other job‑related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Minimum of 3‑5years of sales experience.
4‑year degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field. Fire industry experience is an asset.
Experience with customer management system.
Knowledge of MS Office suite.
Work Environment
Approximately 70% travel time and 30% work from home. Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $127,200.00 – $190,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan.
