XYZ Reality is the creator of an engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution for the construction industry. We have developed The Atom, a smart site-safe headset/hardhat, and implement AR on projects to help schemes meet delivery timescales and budgets. XYZ Reality has grown to over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe and works with Mission Critical organisations and construction companies on major projects.

Role Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for delivering XYZ Reality’s core service on construction projects. This includes tracking construction progress against BIM models, performing on-site quality inspections, and submitting findings to the client through the XYZ platform. This role requires individuals with practical construction experience who can quickly adopt XYZ Reality’s technology and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Track construction progress against BIM models using XYZ’s Augmented Reality Device – The Atom.

Conduct on-site quality inspections and raise observations on the XYZ Platform.

Ensure QA issues are submitted to the client on a daily basis.

Be responsible for the quality of your work, following outlined workflows and standards.

Maintain high levels of data accuracy and reporting standards.

Collaborate with other engineers on-site to ensure full coverage of the project.

Support the Lead Engineer in maintaining operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience working on construction sites.

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Comfortable working with digital tools and software platforms.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.

Basic IT Skills (Microsoft Suite).

This is a permanent role.

Ongoing assignments will be subject to project availability and the candidate’s flexibility to travel or relocate.
