About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Communications Manager to lead strategic initiatives within our mission-driven organization. You will play a crucial role in crafting impactful communication strategies for federal healthcare programs, working closely with cross-functional teams and client partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead comprehensive communications planning and execution. Identify and manage communication opportunities while aligning strategies with program goals.
Collaborate effectively with internal leadership and stakeholders to create unified messaging, provide updates, and drive support for initiatives.
Oversee the production of high-quality communication content, ensuring clear and audience-focused messaging.
Maintain quality standards by reviewing, proofing, and editing all deliverables.
Manage communication channels and maximize their effectiveness for outreach and engagement.
Leverage research and insights to refine and adapt communication strategies based on trends and benchmarks.
Track and report on the impact of communication efforts, providing insights into project statuses and outcomes.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource management.
Develop and mentor your team, fostering professional growth and a collaborative environment.
Continuously improve processes by incorporating feedback to enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Outstanding writing and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, accessible messages.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
Strong verbal communication skills and familiarity with innovative platforms.
Effective problem solver with a collaborative mindset.
Proven leadership capabilities with experience in personnel management.
Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and mentor team members.
Expectations:
Available to work additional or irregular hours as required.
Adhere to all corporate and organizational security policies and procedures.
Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years in relevant communications and management experience.
Experience leading teams in technology or government programs is highly desired.
Prior federal government experience is preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Must be a U.S. citizen due to client contract requirements.
