Responsibilities

Assist the Account Executive, Broker, and Producer with marketing and servicing of new and renewal business.
Coordinate with production team and insurance carriers to facilitate successful client renewals.
Discuss renewal strategy with the Account Executive both internally and with clients.
Responsible for all account service functions from the start of the renewal process, including:
Obtaining necessary renewal materials such as applications and supplemental information required for underwriting purposes (e.g., audited financial statements, organizational charts, etc.).
Working with clients on completion and return of submission materials according to pre‑agreed timelines.
Coordinating the client submission materials for distribution to insurance carriers/underwriters.
Providing support in obtaining insurance carrier quotes and binders, subjectivities, and reviewing them for accuracy.
Assisting with paperwork needed for requisite filings such as surplus lines taxes (only applicable to non‑admitted carriers included on client programs).
Assisting in the creation of client presentations, proposals, and renewal summaries.
Preparing renewal outputs such as reviewing certificate holder lists and providing them to clients for validation.
Confirming any manuscript certificates needed.
Understanding the Auto ID Cards distribution process for clients.
Determining Work Comp posting needs and how to distribute them.
Sending quotes to clients and obtaining bind orders as needed.
Determining if Premium Financing is needed and obtaining quotes.
Creating a policy file in the shared drive once binders come in.
Sending binders to clients with a list of subjectivities, inputting into EPIC, and sending to CAC Binders for data collection.
Managing the billing process.
Following up with carriers for policies and ensuring accuracy.
Sending checked policies to clients, placing copies in EPIC, and sending to CAC Policies for data collection.
Maintaining a shared drive of key documents (e.g., policies, endorsements, invoices, Auto ID Cards, certificates, audits, etc.).
Monitoring expiration dates of all policies, including fees.
Managing ad hoc requests for certificates, auto ID cards, and endorsements.
Setting up new clients in EPIC.
Working with Brokers to obtain copies of policies from carriers.
Requesting and reviewing prior brokers’ Schedule of Insurance, recreating from CAC.
Requesting and reviewing certificate copies and an Excel schedule, updating as needed, and importing into the CAC system.
Requesting and reviewing Auto ID Cards.
Developing and maintaining account handling instructions with claims associates.
Ensuring timely accounting and payment of premiums.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3–5 years of relevant work experience required.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and time‑management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
eCerts and EPIC experience preferred.
Industry designations/certifications (CPCU, CISR, CIC, AINS, etc.) are a plus.
