PRODUCT DEVELOPER - Fabric Sourcing (Moderate Experience)

Leading advanced contemporary women’s brand seeks a Product Developer with Fabric Sourcing experience in the moderate space (J Crew/ Express, etc). We are developing lots of fabrics with European textile vendors as well as competitive price markets.
Responsibilities

Maintain and organize fabrics – file lab dips, sample yardage, lining and novelty fabric development.
Own compiling all FDS info from suppliers and relaying to factories in a timely manner.
Daily meetings with designers.
Ordering sample yardage and tracking.
Responsible for sample, headers and L/D submit tracking.
Create fabric charts and assist all fabric development from L/D, H/L and S/Y.
Daily communication with mills, vendors, and factories.
Assisting fabric appointments and following up headers.
Maintain development linesheet.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in textile or fashion design.
Minimum 5 years experience in advanced contemporary designer fashion brand.
Strong knowledge of textile.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and quality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
