Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment fair participation and on-campus recruitment events for Biomedical Science/Neuroscience PhD programs and Master of Biomedical Science, Master of Biomedical Data Science and AI, and Master of Genetic Counseling in collaboration with program staff.
Facilitate the updating of materials in conjunction with Communications and Marketing. Maintain the inventory of recruitment materials.
Domestics travel to fairs, conferences, colleges & universities, to meet with prospective applicants and faculty/advisors (as needed), providing comprehensive knowledge regarding GSBS degree programs.
Ensure prospective student tracking and engagement using institutional CRM and other recruitment platforms and tools.
Facilitate GSBS faculty and student participation at recruitment events and provide all relevant information pertaining to events.
Coordinate the registration process for traveling to off-campus recruitment events (i.e. conferences, graduate school fairs and visits to colleges).
Organization of on-site recruitment events and organize student group visits and recruitment visits from targeted colleges and universities.
Organization of virtual recruitment activities, including applicant information sessions, accepted student information sessions, financial aid sessions, international student sessions, etc.
Assist in the management of the prospective student database for all programs.
Coordinating with Student Affairs and Enrollment Services with communications to accepted students.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum two years of work experience in recruitment, admissions, or enrollment within a college or university setting
Graduate or professional school experience preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong technology skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $66482.07 - $75000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
