Director, Product Management – Autoimmune

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We help healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions that advance care and improve lives. We are looking for a Director, Product Management (Autoimmune) to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product and portfolio lifecycle strategy, forecasting, and roadmap development.
  • Apply deep disease‑domain expertise, regulatory insight, and strong business acumen to advance adoption, drive profitability, margin expansion, and overall portfolio performance.
  • Monitor scientific, regulatory, and competitive developments to inform portfolio direction.
  • Lead development of product business cases, including market sizing and growth projections, total cost estimation, business goals, operational workflows, outcomes, and functional requirements.
  • Serve as the commercial representative for assigned products across scientific, operational, and market access teams.
  • Manage strategic partnerships that expand product capabilities, drive distribution, and unlock new revenue streams.
  • Act as a spokesperson who clearly articulates the product vision to partners and internal teams.
  • Represent customer voice in strategic committees and facilitate alignment on product evolution, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Partner with Marketing to support differentiation strategy and thought leadership priorities.
  • Lead and ensure operational readiness for product launches and acquisitions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7 or more years of experience in product management or portfolio strategy.
  • 7 or more years of experience in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An advanced degree (Master of Science, Master of Public Health, or Master of Business Administration).
  • Experience with diagnostics commercialization and regulatory pathways.
  • Experience with market access/payor policies for diagnostics.
  • Experience with forecasting & pricing.

Location & Hybrid Work

The candidate must reside in New York City, NY; Los Angeles, CA; or North Carolina (NC), near a Labcorp hub. Applicants who live within 35 miles of Burlington, NC or Durham, NC will follow a hybrid schedule, including a minimum of three in‑office days per week at the assigned location (Burlington or Durham).

Compensation

Pay Range: $150,000 – $170,000 annually + annual bonus eligibility. Bonuses are based on corporate and/or business segment performance and individual performance modifiers.

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO/FTO.
