Overview

Fanatics Betting & Gaming is building the most rewarding, fan-first sports betting and gaming experience in the industry. We’re looking for a VP, Director Digital Media Strategy to lead our end-to-end digital media strategy across Sportsbook and iGaming, driving measurable growth, efficiency, and long-term customer value.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Digital Media Strategy: Develop the holistic paid media strategy across Sportsbook and Casino to drive efficient customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Planning & Execution: Build integrated media plans aligned to business goals, budgets, and lifecycle performance targets.
  • Innovation & Leadership: Set the standard for advanced thinking and drive full-funnel performance.
  • Communication: Use clear storytelling to simplify complexity and drive business understanding.
  • Drive Performance & Optimization: Lead a culture of testing, experimentation, and constant iteration across channels, audiences, creative, and bidding strategies.
  • Measurement & Metrics: Oversee full-funnel performance metrics, ensuring efficiency in CPA, ROAS, LTV, payback windows, and market-level growth.
  • Channel Leadership: Own strategy across paid social, search, programmatic, affiliate, and CTV/OTT; evaluate and scale new channels to unlock incremental reach and revenue.
  • Team & Capabilities: Experience managing full-funnel channel teams with a track record of bringing channel operations in-house.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with CRM, Brand, Analytics, Product, and Creative to ensure channel alignment and coordinated fan journey execution.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Lead relationships with media agencies, technology partners, platforms, and measurement providers; drive accountability and performance across vendors.
  • Data, Measurement & Insights: Establish and enhance measurement capabilities including MMM, MTA, incremental testing, and LTV forecasting; transform data into actionable insights.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a team of high-performing media strategists and channel experts; foster curiosity, innovation, and operational rigor.

What You Bring

  • 15+ years of digital media or growth marketing experience, ideally within sports betting, online gaming, e-commerce, or high-growth consumer digital companies.
  • Deep expertise in performance media, including paid social, search, programmatic, CTV/OTT, and affiliate.
  • Proven ability to build, execute, and optimize multi-million-dollar media budgets with clear ROI accountability.
  • Strong understanding of LTV, attribution modeling, cohort analysis, and incremental measurement.
  • Experience managing agencies, media partners, DSPs, and attribution/measurement tech.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present strategies to senior executives.
  • A data-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for experimentation and innovation.
  • Experience in a highly regulated or competitive industry is a strong plus.
  • Experience managing in-house media team.

Salary Range: $240,000 - $270,000 USD
